Correctol Available Again

For a while Correctol was unavailable while the manufacturer changed ownership. Correctol is now owned by Bayer and the website says Correctol is available again. However, I have not yet seen it return to my local store shelves in the USA.

For anyone else looking, the active ingredient in Correctol is Bisacodyl and it is available over the counter in many other products as store brands and generic laxatives.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, bloating, abdominal cramping and diarrhea.

Is there anything I can help with?

When Correctol was first introduced back in early 1958, it was formulated with Phenolphthalein and Docusate Sodium. Now it is made with Bisacodyl only. The pills are still pink in color.
