According to the NIH Flupen contains the active ingredient Flucloxacillin, which is typically used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
The NIH goes on to say that the common adult dosage is 250mg 4 times daily which would come out to taking it every 6 hours, however, it is important to follow the instructions that your doctor gave you as they are most informed of your medical needs. I suggest that you call your doctor and check to see what his administration instructions were.
