Cordizone Shot Gone Bad

I had a cordizone shot in both knees three months ago and my right knee is bone on bone and the left one has very little cartilage. When the doctor gave me the shot in the left knee he may have hit a bone because I nearly went through the roof. The shots worked for about three days but the left knee feels like he just stuck me yesterday and hurts was worse than the right one that needs to be replaced. Do I replace the knee or get a second opinion?

It's actually more likely that he hit a nerve, which would explain the pain you're feeling. It is a risk associated with such shots, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience redness, swelling at the application site and stiffness.

And yes, before any surgery, especially such a serious one, you should always get a second opinion.
