Contrave Vs Belviq (Page 3)
UpdatedI was on free 2 weeks of Belviq followed by 1 mo out of pocket Belviq. Lost and felt good with NO side effects at all. Then my doctor said she thought Contrave would be a better choice because it is just as effective, if not more, and cheaper...just 70 dollars a month. But, I have heart racing and feel agitated. I did not experience either with Belviq. I feel like calling my Dr. Back and asking to switch back and suck up the 200 mo. For Belviq.
I just saw a TV commercial advertising Contrave for weight loss. I have been on Belviq for over a year. Got the first month free, then paid I think it was $57 a month using the card from their website. My new card arrived, and this year it's $97 a month. I lost 30 pounds quickly with it, no side effects. I've lost another 20 and now amusing it hpjust to maintain. You can get it for less than $200 a month if you use the card from their website. I don't react well to antidepressants and Belviq really does work completely different. My doctor monitors my labs every 3 months.
I have insurance and a Belviq savings card, the maximum I have paid is $75 at CVS. The cost went up the end of last year it is now $90 with insurance and savings card at CVS.
I have been taking belviq for alil while now went from 298 to 263 I still have a ways to go but I love it ..the first few days I had a headache but that will go away. I love it I won't take anything else ..
After the first year, the price for Belviq goes up to about 83 a month. I have been on Belviq for about a year and a half and have lost around 70 pounds. You still have to make healthy choices and can even gain weight while taking Belviq.
Your DOCTOR said this? I think I'd find a new dr!! Asap. There are ZERO opiates in that medication. I'm a nurse. Your dr sounds like an uneducated *****! Scary!
Contrave is indeed a medicine for weight loss. I am going to ask my doc about it today.
I have been taking belviq for a while and my health insurance stopped paying for it used to be 260+ per month.... But recently it has dropped in price to about 140$ and when you download the loyalty card you could potentially get all of it covered.
I have lost over 80lbs but this will only work if you put the work in! It help you feel full, you have to choose to fill up on healthy food or only eat half an order at McDonald's
If you do the latter you will not succeed, you also need need need to exercise, belviq is not a magic pill but it helps you stay on track!
I had some side effects like head ache and "foggy brain" but head aches went away with ibuprofen and both head ache and fog brain were gone with in two weeks
I have never used contrave but belviq worked for me limited side effects that passed
Good luck to everyone meeting their goals!
How are you only paying $70? Even using the manufacturer coupon, it is $267 for me. Tell me your secret.
My doctor will either give me an Rx for either Contrave or Belviq today Which one is the better weight loss product
Contrave is for weight-loss. I am deciding weather to start it or not. They say it's totally safe, of course they have to put the potential side effects.
My OOP will only be $86.00 at Walgreens With the coupon. I believe each pharmacy is different.
82$ with belviq with savings card, and yes Contrave is the name the components are Wellbutrin and Naltrexone but the two separately don't necessarily make a country's contrave is formulated and compound in a way it's very different. I've tried both I prefer contrave I'm now on Belviq because of upcoming medical procedures so far but about a week haven't noticed much but willing to stick it out it took a month or so long contrave to really feel the effects o still trying
Actually..no. its not. Its the same formulation. If you are going to post drug info? Please know wtf you are talking about.
I literally just filled my Belviq prescription and I paid nothing out of pocket. Between my insurance and a savings card off the website. So far no side effects and no cravings.
You can go to belviq website and get a coupon that will make it only $75-$82 a month
CVS is expensive and sucks!! try a grocery store pharmacy or sams club/walmart
Contrave is INDEED a controlled substance. YOU should know what you are talking about.
