Contrave-losing Effect

I am on my 4th week with Contrave and feel great. I have only lost 3lbs and now I'm noticing my appetite returning...is it loosing its effect? I take 4 pills daily. The pharmacist was no help and said that will happen with any medication. Anything I can do to loose that appetite again? Thanks!

I've noticed that if you stick to it it will adjust to your body. I've lost 15lbs so far now with diet and exercise. I don't crave sweets and I don't over eat. A friend of mine who lost well over 50lbs didn't notice a difference until 4 months and she told me to just stick to it and it will work. Keep going!!

Many people have reported hitting a plateau with this medication, which may last for a few weeks, according to NIH reports. Other side effects as listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and anorexia.

If you are still seeing no improvement after about a month, or so, you should inform your doctor.

How are you both doing? Has there been any change?
