Contrave Dosage
UpdatedI been taking Contrave since September. I did the one pill the first week...at first I felt loopy, light-headed a little off, but I got used to it and inplus was tired. Started my second pill the next week and I stopped at the second dose...I could not sleep. So I stopped and just continued with the one pill for about 3 weeks with no problems with my sleep, so then I got the courage to start the second dose which is the one pill in the evening...did fine after maybe three days into the evening pill. I would go to sleep but when I wake up couldn't go back to sleep. I was feeling light headed like the feeling of low blood sugar. But I sucked it up and continued with the evening pill. Now I would like to start with the third pill but I'm not sure. The job that I do and with me working 7 days a week with the crazy Hours that I have. I don't really have the time to start taking it at home to see how it reacts to me. I been taking chances starting at work. Basically right now I'm taking the two pills a day. I'm just afraid to up the dose because my job consists of driving at times and dealing with people. Basically I don't have the time to sit still to start the other dose which I would like to.

Those can be normal side effects of this medication, according to FDA reports, and unfortunately most weight loss medications stimulate the body, in some way, so you will likely still experience such issues, regardless of which one you try.
However, if you inform your doctor, you might be able to try other ones, which might not cause such severe effects for you. Often, it is a matter of trial and error to find a medication that works, without making us miserable due to unwanted side effects.
Is this the first one that you've tried?
Re: Verwon (# 1)
I tried Phentermine but didn't do well for me. Actually I just stopped taking Contrave those low blood sugar feelings came back again, And my blood pressure out of no where went way high. I was lighted headed and Shakey. I have high blood pressure but it's been controlled for 6-7 years. I went to the emergency room when I wasn't feeling good that day and they diagnosed me with high blood pressure. They didn't do no blood test to see if Contrave or if it was any other meds that's I was talking that made me react the way I was. I told them I know I have high blood pressure and have not had issues with it for years...my reason for going to emergency room was to figure out what was going on with me. So I just stopped Contrave and I'm back to my normal self
