Contrave And Diarrhea

I am on day 2 on Contrave. Yesterday I had bad stomach cramping, and then today after lunch I was hit with bad spell of diarrhea. For lunch I ate soup and salad. Stomach is still having bad cramps. Will this go away soon? How long will this last? Can I do anything diet wise to make it better? Can I take over the counter meds to help? Anyone else experience this? I am a teacher, and I'm worried if this will not go away in a few days, it may not be worth it having to constantly run to the bathroom all day.

Side effects usually tend to be transient and go away, once your body gets used to a new medication, but that could take 3 or 4 weeks.

As listed by the FDA, you may also experience headache, dizziness and insomnia.

If your doctor approves, you might be able to take Imodium to help.
