Continuos Spotting After Taking Althea Pills

Hi I'm an new user of of Althea, and I just got worried because I took it on the first day of my menstruation,and on the 7th day, I thought my menstruation was done already, but I experienced continuous bleeding, lighter bleeding, until I finish the whole pack. Even on my pill free days, I still experienced bleeding. Is this normal or is this something I should worry. Please help. Thanks.

That can be a normal side effect, according to NIH reports and it could last for about 3 months, while your body gets used to the medication. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms.

Is there anything else I can help with? Have you experienced any other issues?
