Concor 2.5 - Can It Be Stopped?

I have been on Concor 2.5 for the past 5 years. My BP readings have been normal recently. Hence, I want to gradually stop this medicine. Can I reduce it to half tablet for 2 weeks and stop the medication if BP is normal. Only other medicine I am taking is Eltroxin 125 for hypothyroidism.
