Concerta And Pregnancy
UpdatedI have been on 54mg of Concerta for Major Depressive Disorder since 2010.
This medication has been fundamentally beneficial to managing my depression.
I am about to start trying to conceive for my first child and my dr has suggested I come off this medication for the pregnancy. I want to try this but at the same time am concerned about if I will be able to function off it. I want the best for my baby (if I'm lucky enough to fall pregnant).
I wanted to hear from anyone who as come off this medication for pregnancy OR remained on it during pregnancy. I'd really love to hear what effects you experienced and if you remained on it, what effects has it had to your baby? Did you take it during breast feeding?
I would be greatful for any information.
Thank you
