Concerta And Lack Of Sleep
UpdatedIf my son does not get enough sleep it seems as though the concerta is more potient on him the next day? His eyes seems galssy and he seems out of it. Do any of you also have this issue?

It makes sense to me that Concerta (a psychostimulant drug) is effecting his sleep patterns if he is taking it too much of it or having it too late in the day.
Common side effects associated with this medication are:
restlessness
difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep
nervousness

Does your son take anything to help himself get a deeper sleep? Perhaps lavender oil or a natural sleep aid would be beneficial for avoiding certain effects from the medication.
