hi Iam 44 yrs old and one month back verified my blood pressure is 160/100 .But it is not constant always. sometimes it is going down to 140/100, 140/90, 130/90.
I am taking METO AM 25 once in morning.

Meto-ER contains the active ingredient Metoprolol is a time released formulation, it is a beta blocker that is used to help treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac problems.

Nihar, the Meto-AM contains the Metoprolol that I've listed above, as well as Amlodipine, which is a calcium channel blocker that is used to treat similar conditions.

i used the Meto-ER 50 mg for heart angio flast from 2005 now the company closed which medicine equal power in other companies

My father, 60 year old male was using Meto-ER 50 mg for heart angio flast from 2006 now the drug is not available.
Kindly suggest a medicine , which can substitute Meto-ER 50mg
