Comparison Between Nexito 5 And Serlift

My daughter is 12 yrs old and is suffering from depression,she has stopped eating and drinking,feels nausea.Child Psychologist gave her Serlift and another changed it to Nexito 5 saying that this is better than Serlift.Side effect of these madicines as I studied here, are nausea,weakness,constipation etc.But she is already suffering from these problems and with these medicines the said problems will also increase.Pls suggest what to do. All other tests are normal.Pls suggest what to do.

Well, the first thing you have to understand about side effects is that there is no way to actually say that someone will experience them, they are just a possibility. Not everyone experiences them.

And as to the symptoms she's already having, if they have been caused by depression, then her taking the medication could actually improve them.

Additionally, medication side effects usually only last for a few weeks, until someone's body adjusts to the medication, then they taper off in severity.
