My doctor (who I don't have much confidence in) prescribed a combination of 40mg Escitalopram (Lexapro), 200mg Clomipramine (Anafranil) and 60mg Mirtazapine (Remaron). The maximum dose of Escitalopram and Mirtazapine is 20mg and 45mg respectively. This combination seems insane and I've not found anything on the internet to indicate that this combination has ever been used.
Has anyone here used this combination of meds at such doses? Is this a safe combination?

Various combinations and dosages are often used in the U.S., if someone isn't responding to other medications and dosage combinations. Sometimes, they have to be tailored to the individual being treated.
The NIH warns that you may experience more side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and sedation.
Have you started taking them all, yet? If so, how are you doing?
