I have been prescribed colospa retard for IBS, two tabs daily of 200 mg. Want to know more about the drug, its usage and side effects.

I have an umbilical hernia (with pain in my lower abdomen) and my dr prescribed Colospa Retard, two capsules before lunch and dinner. Will it help?

I'm having pain in the right side of my abdomen. It's been about 3 years. First it was a small pain in my abdomen and then one day my respiratory tract was in pain and if I touch the right side of my lungs or chest, it's really painful.

I saw so many doctors. I have been diagnosed many times. My reports say everything is normal. But my whole right side is paining from my neck to the bottom of my abdomen.

my name's vijayalakshmi, i am 76yrs old. I have been suffering from IBS since 3 years. I have been taking VSL3 weekly thrice. at times i used to take Refaguat. i am not satisfied and not controlled. please advise wat medicine should i take. any harm taking loparat once in a week. loparat controls IBS. please give me ur advice

I am 58 years old, suffering from IBS and doctor prescribed Colospa retard 200 (1 per day at night after dinner) and Hiact P (2 times per day). After taking these two medicines, I did not feel much betterment. Then I started taking only Colospa retard 200 once a day and after a week I am feeling better and feel like getting rid of IBS. Altogether, I am taking medicine for 5 weeks and doctor asked me to contact again after 6 weeks. Please give your advice.

my wife, aged 73 yrs has been confirmed to be an IBS patient. One doctor prescrobed to take Rifagut-200 per day, whereas the other Colospa retard-200 per day after food. My wife feels better with Rifagut-200 without side effects. I seek your advice.
