Colospa Retard (Page 2)

I have been prescribed colospa retard for IBS, two tabs daily of 200 mg. Want to know more about the drug, its usage and side effects.

I've been suffering from pain in my abdomen for the past year. The CT abdomen results reveal a mucosal thickening of a short segment of the small intestine... Other reports are normal, including results from an endoscopy on my upper gut. What may be the cause of this pain and can Colospa help treat it?

I am taking colospa retard 2 times daily, rifagut 550 mg, and normaxin 2 times daily for IBS. When I take my medicine I feel good, but when I stop the medicine the problem comes back. I want to know if my IBS can be cured by English medicine? Please advise.

U shud avoid using wheat flour
Don't use colospa for prolong period

Wheat contain gluten
That causes pain n discomfort.

I have been taking colospa retard for more than 3 months as prescribed for ibs. How long can I use it? Till now there's been no side effects. Getting a bit of relief though not much. Can this med cure my ibs permanently?
