Collagen

I've recently received a mailout selling Collagen tablets claiming all sorts of improvements for those over 50 including for the heart, liver, lungs , brain, bones and just about every other part of your body.
Has anyone else tried these tablets and can tell me their experience of them

Collagen is touted to help with many things, since it is a vital part of the body, but it has never been proven to actually do so.
