Are you aware that there have been Zoloft recalls/lawsuits on television? Just wanted to briefly mention that in case you didn't know...

Regarding these two medications, there is an interaction between the Chlorpheniramine found in Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold and Zoloft (sertraline).

This interaction notes the following:

"MONITOR: Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients.

MANAGEMENT: During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression."

While it doesn't specifically say that you cannot take these two medications together, you may want to regularly check in with your doctor during the time that you are taking both of them, just to play it safe.
