Codeine Verses Hydrocodone Drug Test

I am taking codeine sulfate every day but ran out three days before my drug test and took hydrocodone until my test. Can they tell a difference in my test or will it just come up as an opiate?

It depends on what type of test that is used but in general Codeine and hydrocodone would show up as two different results on a drug test.
