There are risks associated with any medication, however, there aren't many severe ones with an antibiotic and the only case I can think of involving death would be if they were allergic to it and went into anaphylactic shock.
The typical side effects, as reported by the U.S. FDA may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
Have you experienced any of the side effects?
