Lately, I've been having pain in the coccyx bone after sitting, whether on the bed or a chair. I did not fall down at all. Why is it hurting after sitting for only 25 minutes?

It is really hard to say, you should see a doctor and let them do a physical exam.
Do you sit a lot during the day? If so, that may cause it, since it is not good to be idle too much. It could also be due to your possibly developing arthritis, or some other medical condition, according to NIH reports, but only a doctor can give you a definitive answer.
Are you on any medications? The FDA does warn that some can cause these types of issues as a side effect.
Do you maintain proper posture when sitting? Soft surfaces, such as beds, are not ideal for sitting on for any long period of time, since you don't get proper alignment of the spine.
