I took a hair follicle drug test and 1200 was the level for cocaine and marijuana. Can they determine how long ago the drug was used?

Yes, Percocet would come up as oxycodone if they are doing an extended opiate hair drug test.

I'm prescribed Percocet but I'm out and have been taking oxycodone the last 2 months and have to take a hair follicle test in 90 days. Will the Percocet come up as oxycodone in the test?

The test done is on a 1.5 inch strand of hair that is cut as close to the scalp as possible. Each half inch represents 30 days. So they can estimate use within a month only. If you have a repeated test done for some reason and the levels fall you should get a negative reading after 90 days unless you continue to use. The cut off for a positive on methamphetamine is 500 and for THC is under 1.0. Anything under those numbers is considered negative. Obviously the how quickly or slowly your hair grows would have an impact. The tests are ran based on average hair growth. Hope this helps.

A hair test is meant to show consistent use over time. Even though he only did a gram my best guess is that there is a good possibility he will be positive on a hair drug tests.

So what's your question?? Usually people don't get two hair tests. The hair is usually taken from the head unless it is too short then they will use body hair.

Most places will only go back 90 days, which is 1.5 inches from the head. A hair drug test is mean to show consistent use over time. A few hits of weed won't show up.

I took a few times of weed about 7.5 months ago and before that nothing. Just did a follicle test. Hair from my head. They go back 90 days.

If your hair was 1.5 inches long the test results would be for a 90 day history from the date collected which should be on the result page. But you cannot pinpoint the exact day or time the use occurred.
