I would like to know exactly how I tested positive for cocaine when I have never in my 30 years knowing or willingly ingested it. They told me I had 8.9ml of it in my system. How far back is that tested for??

I stopped having coke since october the 10th. I have been clean. Haven't had anything to this day. If i cut my hair tomorrow and leave only two inches from the scalp up will i test positive on january 5th for a hair follicle test? Please help, I don't want to be homeless!

I believe the nares are packed with a drug very similar to cocaine when doing this operation...I am going to have to do some study on it...however it would answer your question if true.

I was going to a prescription doctor for morphine, oxycodone, xanax, lisinopril, and fixadent for my teeth. I detoxed four months ago from my prescription drugs. I took suboxone for three months however I haven't had cocaine for over two years.

I just finished reading your story about a positive for coke in your urine. Sir I'm in the same situation. I have not had coke in 20 years, came up positive. My test is for employment. I'm gonna wait till monday to see if coke shows up positive.. WHAT A FRUSTRATING-CONFUSING BULLS*** THIS IS.. GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND. I will try to keep U posted.

I recently went to Nova labs to be tested for pre employment. I received a call 4 days later and the doctor from the lab says "I tested positive for cocaine and I have never used it. In fact I'm allergic to any and all narcotics. I found that out at the hospital when I had a mild stroke and they gave me meds for pain. I began to have a bad reaction and had to be given other meds to stop the reaction. When I call the doctor, the clinic and the job where I applied no one will talk to me. What shall I do?

I failed a urine test for cocaine. I have never used. The day before the test, i saw the Dr for a joint injury (lower back pain). They gave me a 60mg injection of kereolac torodol and prescribed me naproxen and flexeril. The test occurred about 16 hours after that injection and about 3 hours after the naproxen and flexeril dose. What is the culprit?

I also had the same surgery and the doctor that was my anesthesiologist told me that I would test positive for cocaine after taking the drugs that they were giving me… So you shouldn't worry because that's standard and your surgery procedure.

I'm on Lidocaine Hydrochloride, Baclofen, Meloxicam, Oxycodone and Oxycontin. My urine came back positive for Cocaine or Benzoylecgonine - Why?
Test came back showing; 34 ng/mg. Benzoylecgonine is a metabolite of Cocaine. Never use or touch street drugs so why did my urine come back positive? Please help!

Can an infection medicine, antihistamine medicine or an inhaler cause a false positive for cocaine? I have never in my life taken cocaine. At the time of the test I had a double inner ear infection and sinus infection, which was the reason I agreed to take a hair drug test. Please tell me it's possible. The courts took my daughter and her dad has temporary custody. I have been taking urinary drug tests with my family doctor and I don't have anything I'm not prescribed in my system. Please help me.

My urologist is treating me for bladder cancer and uses Novocaine in my urethra to insert a camera along with dissecting devices as well as catheters to insert what is called BCG, a tuberculosis vaccine that helps kill cancer in the bladder, which is inserted via a catheter. The camera procedure to check for tumors, was done ten days prior to a urine test from me by my pain management who claim I was dirty for cocaine, which I stay far away from. I also applied lidocaine patches during that week and have already found out that this too can cause a false positive for cocaine. I need to know how long it takes for this novocaine to completely clear out of my bladder and urethra, if in fact this could have also contributed to the false positive?
