I am experiencing a bad itch in my vagina and I have a tube of clotrimazole cream usp 1% but it expired two months ago. Is it still safe?

I started using Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream 10 days ago for itching and burning in the groin area. How long will this condition take to heal with this cream?

DO NOT USE INSIDE YOUR VAGINA! It clearly says that on my tube (no vagina). Not nose, mouth or eyes either. Use twice a day at the same schedule. Not longer than five days in a row and definitely not longer than 4 weeks!!!
