Hi,

My genitals have had a reddish rash for the last 2 weeks and I've been using Clotrimazole. Is this an appropriate treatment option?

Hello,

Based on my research, Clotrimazole can be used to treat yeast infections of the vagina, mouth, and skin such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and body ringworm.

Administration:

To use Clotrimazole cream, gently massage the cream into and around the affected skin areas two times a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. If no improvement is noticed within 4 weeks of use, speak with your doctor.

Side effects can include (but are not limited to):

Erythema
Stinging,
Blistering,
Peeling,
Pruritis, ,
Edema,
Urticaria
Burning,
General irritation of the skin.
