Can I drink alcholic beverages on this once I've started application on affected area

Yes. It's only an anti-fungal and steroid. Alcohol will have no interaction with that cream.

What has your doctor, or pharmacist advised?

I wouldn't agree and say there would be no effect, because your body does absorb some of the medications, it's just that the effects would be very slight, as compared to medications that you take orally and absorb much more of in your body.

Another issue may result from the fact that the alcohol can thin your blood and affect your circulation, it may result in your absorbing more of it, than normal.
