Clopidogrel And Hairloss

I have been taking clopidogrel 75 for circulation for nearly four years now and my hair is so thin It won’t cover my scalp properly, the loss has speeded up in the last six months and I would like to know if you think it will stop before I loose it all (which won’t be long) or is there anything else you can suggest, thank you.

That is not a common side effect, as listed by the FDA. They are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising.

There is really no way to be sure how any given medication will affect anyone that takes it, though.

Are you on any other medications? How old are you?

Have you consulted your doctor? There are other medications in this class that you can try.
