UpdatedI started clonidine 0.1 transdermal patches 5 days ago for hypertension. My b/p is still very high. How long does it take for it to reach a therapeutic level?

How high is your bp?
This medication may take 4 to 5 weeks to reach it's full therapeutic level in your body.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, increased urination, and hypotension.
