How old is the person taking it? For children, the dosage can vary, depending on body weight and for adults, it can range, depending on the severity of symptoms, but is usually between 0.2 and 0.4mgs in divided doses, throughout the day.
It can take 4 to 6 months for it to reach its maximum efficacy for Tourettes.
Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and lethargy.
