Clonidine 100mg/ Arkamin/subutex Withdrawal ?/

I am currently on subutex 2mg daily and want to withdraw,using Arkamin /clonodine /100mg TABS/?can you tell me what sort of reduction I should do?what dose of subutex would you suggest I get down too?I only have experience of using brand 0.1mg clonodine, So can you suggest what kind of daily doses in mg (100)/Arkamin/clonodine :I should be using during the withdrawal period to best alleviate the hypertension/raised blood pressure that I wish to avoid? In the past the detox has been done over approx 10 days starting at 2mg /increasing to a max of 2.4mg/ and then reducing to avoid rebound withdrawal symptoms to nothing over the last 3/4 days.However, as these are generic and 100mg/ I don't know what doses to use as an equivalent ?. Can you please explain to me what quantities this equates to using Artimex to have the same efficacy ,I need an answer asap so I can buy the Artimex/ and start asap ,thankyou??

I am in the uk and need to get a supply of generic acktimex in order to reduce, symptomatic raised blood pressure, associated with withdrawal , and would appreciate any advice as to where i can get some thanks ,MARK>

Mark, the dosage in both medications you mentioned in the same, you were just reading it wrong on the Arkamin, it's not 100mgs, it's 100mcgs, so it is equal to the 0.1mg that you used to take.

However, as to using it for withdrawals and how low you need to get on the Subutex, I really don't have much information on that. Doctors that specialize in this do so, because they have been specially trained to handle it and, unfortunately, this site doesn't have anyone here that has been trained in the use of Suboxone and Subutex for addiction.

Your best idea would be to consult your doctor, before undertaking anything, in order to get the best results and advice, for your safety.

And, since we are based in the U.S., I am sorry, but I also don't have any information on how you can obtain the Clonidine in the U.K. In most countries, it requires a doctor's prescription.

It can also cause side effects of its own, such as nausea, headache, stomach pain and hypotension, so it must be used carefully.

Have you consulted a doctor about this, at all?

Why were you on the Subutex?

i had a kidney transplant 20 yrs ago. am on immunosuppresent drugs and following BP pills since more than 10 years:

atenolol 50 (twice a day)
Arkamin H ( twice a day)

Now my blood pressure has started to rise to about 170/100

my doctor added cilinidipine 10 mg (twice a day) to my long list of daily pills.

pressure came down to 150/90

however have developed edema in the feet. Weight has gone up by 5 kgs in the past 2 months.

Now my doctor has proposed to stop clinidipine and has put me on atacand (candersatan cilexitil ) 16 mg. I have been told to reduce my potassium intake in my diet.

Please advise on the side effects i should expect.

my creatinine is 2.6 since the past 5 years. potassium level in blood, analyzed 30 days ago is about 5.
