went to the emergency room for high heart rate and was diagnosed as panic attack. Just recently had open heart surgery. Is this the right medicine for me. ## Clonazepam is a Benzodiazepine derivative, it is often used to treat anxiety, panic attacks and nervous disorders. As to whether or not it is the right medication for you, there is really no definitive way to say, as your complete medical history, as well as other medications you are taking should all be taken into account. There is nothing listing it as being contraindicated in heart patients, but you should consult with your regular doctor, to be on the safe side. Have you done so, yet? This medication may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Learn more:

What's the difference between clonazepam ip and regular clonazepam tablets any difference in potency ## No, some places just list the initials for the chemical salt it is derived from, however, aside from the slight allowable fluctuations in generic medications, Clonazepam is Clonazepam and one will be as potent and effective as any other. My friend gave me this pill and told me that it was ordered online from the United States, and that it helps with anxiety. He said it was clonazepam, but the pill is small, round, yellow (sort of lightish), looks like its 'coated' or has a time release, and has an imprint of 40 on one side that is in red-ish writing and there is nothing on the other side... if anyone has any idea, please let me know! ## I've looked through our various resources an I am not finding anything that matches this in the U.S. prescription medication databases. I even went through several pages of generic and name brand markings for Klonopin and Clonazepam and there is nothing even close to this. If it is from a foreign source, it may be difficult to narrow down exactly what this is and personally, ...

yellow, scored tablet with "M" imprint ## Are there any 10 mg. clonazepam tablets? ## Scag, is that the only imprint on the tablet, an M? There is nothing listed in the U.S. prescription drug databases that just has an M on it and nothing else. However, this could be a foreign medication or an over the counter item. As to your question on Clonazepam, no, it is oly available in a maximum of 2mgs tablets.

why is my clonazapam not effective unless it has not been in my system for some time. I dont take to much just the 2mg and yet I do not receive the sedative effect I am looking for ## I was on 1MG 3X a day for almost 4 years and found it was doing NOTHING for me. The only option I had was to take MORE to get the help I felt I was receiving in the first place. I moved UP to 2 MG at night to help me sleep and felt that I was STILL not receiving the benefit from the medication... At this point I started coming OFF the drug, as I knew I would just keep building a tolerence to it. It took me being off of it for almost 2 month before I tried taking anything else and now I take Xanax. I find it helps me more than the Clonzapam did...just a me thing. My point here is that 2MG is alot actually. ...

Two weeks ago (4/2/2011) I began taking clonazepam 0.5MG tablets (by TEVA) product code NDC 00093083201. They are small, yellow round tablets with the number 832 on one side and TEVA on the other. I noticed online there was a recall for the product code in 2009. I was wondering if the tablets I'm taking now are safe even though it's two years after the recall? Hope someone can help me out. Thank you. ## The NDC (National Drug Code) number is used to designate the drug, dosage and package size of the medication, for instant the digits for this one will show the FDA, pharmacists and others, that this product is Clonazepam, manufactured by Teva, that it is the 0.5mg strength and they are sent to hospitals and pharmacies in bottles of 100.
