The do contain clonazepam. I am drug tested frequently and my 0.5mg Kolonopin usually don't show up as a positive (cut off 200) even under gas spectrometry. However, after a 7 day break from my 0.5's, I took a 2mg Cyril pill. The next day I was tested and showed positive with a detection level of 1345 and the gas spectrometry was detected the benzo as clonazepam. So, there is clonazepam in these pills.

I'm a caregiver and I found this pill in my patients lazyboy. I want to make sure that the other caregiver is not giving my patient meds that she is not prescribed. Please help me identify this pill. One side is blank. The other has a 2 on it. But keep in mind this pill is split in half. I do not know what the other half looks like. Can anyone help me?! ## Hello, Shelly! How are you? I'm sorry, but without knowing the complete imprint, this is really nothing more than a guessing game. Off the top of my head, I can think of at least a dozen tablets that match this description, but their proper identification depends on the rest of the markings. Have you tried asking your patient about it? They may recognize it. Does anyone else have any ideas of what this might be? I'll keep ...

Walmart switched my clonazepam to ipl from teva and it does not seem to work as well. First why would they do this and has anyone else had the same problem ## I do know about changes like this with prescriptions. Pharmacies are always searching for a cheaper deal every time reordering. Of course I don't know any of them that care about how good they are either.I never had luck with requesting another company instead of the one they choose to give you, but some will have a few companies including the name brand.people have been granted that request. It's terrible the treatment most of us get like this. Unless you got the bucks for name brand. Not many meds are all just generics. I've seen a few and this is because they choose not to. ## Tom, they are both generics. It is not ...

I took 2mg og clonazepam as a one time useage. I do not take this medication regularly. this one time dosing, how long will it stay in my system? ## Clonazepam is a Benzodiazepine and as such, it has a long half-life elimination time of approximately 16 to 50 hours. However, if you're asking about the detectable time for a drug test, that is different, as it can be detectable in a standard urine test for approximately 6 weeks after taking it. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## That's correct I took them for years and 3months later minute amounts still showed on my screens. ## It's typically the metabolite half life of the chemical x 5.5 . For Valium for example the metabolite half life is 100 hours x 5.5 = 550 hours or 23 days. It's easy to google ...

I wasn't prescribed this pill but I've been taking it for about six weeks at bedtime to get to sleep. Since it wasn't prescribed and I'm running low, should I be concerned about withdrawal? ## Hello, Gordie! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 2mgs of Clonazepam. Yes, you should be concerned about withdrawal, suddenly stopping this medication can create the risk of seizures. It would be safest to consult your doctor for assistance. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is it safe to take 4mg of clonazepam and a Tylenol pm ## That's a bit of a high dose of the Clonazepam to take at once, so please be cautious and make sure you only take the amount your doctor has instructed you to use. As to mixing these medications, they both increase sedation, so there's a chance that you may experience more severe side effects than usual, such as the dizziness and drowsiness that can occur. They can be taken together, if your doctor approves, but you need to be sure that you won't be driving, or operating any dangerous machinery. It would be safest to only do so, just when you're going to bed. The FDA also warns that Clonazepam carries the risk of being habit forming. Is there anything else I can help with?

Past week have been nervous and anxious all day. Plus am only able to go back to sleep for a couple of hours. Am concerned that u am addicted to the Klonopin. How do I detox from it ?????? ## Hello, Matthew! How are you? I think you're confusing addiction and dependence. Addiction occurs when someone likes how a medication makes them feel, but since that's just due to side effects that wear off, they have to keep taking more and more to get those effects back, again. Dependence, however, is what occurs when you take a medication regularly for a long period of time, your body gets used to having it and you...

Thus, an abrupt cessation can result in withdrawal symptoms and rebound effects, such as what you are experiencing. A sudden withdrawal also carries the risk of seizures.
