Clonazepam Ingredients Mylan Brand Vs Teva Vs Accord (Page 12)
UpdatedPlease help with this, i have taken the mylan brand for several years, when the pharmacy could no longer order it they ordered Teva, it immediately gave me pains that seemed to be in my chest....kind of the opposite of what it's supposed to do. So with Mylan being available though only two pharmacies, someone mentioned accord...but what is the difference of fillers. could you simply list all the ingredients for all three brands so if Accord matches Mylan i'm ok?
Re: Jbal04407 (# 220)
Clonazepam by Teva has be reintroduced by demand from customers. It is available and shipping since September 19. Ask your pharmacy to order them again.
Re: Eric (# 221)
Yeah and it’s not the same formula. May have similar looks and ingredients but not the the same amounts. I’ve got 60 here beside me
Re: ArlisT (# 203)
ArlisT (# 203) --I have never experienced "tolerance" with the better brands of Clonazepam, and I have been taking it for 25 years.
I believe the Accord brand is made in India.
The Accord brand is ineffective regardless of where it is made.
Re: James (# 5)
U r so right on Teva, I've taken Teva clonazepam for over 14 yrs and 6 months ago. I noticed my clonazepam not working right, are taking to long to work , headaches, etc, and not being able to sleep, so looked at bottle. It's accords brand pharmacies, which sucks. But having to deal with it and hope my body gets use to it and accepts it, because I live in Alaska and asking my pharmacist why, he stated they get what the companies send them and I ask if they can order them, probably could but price would b much higher because it's special order and they don't carry that brand anymore, Teva, and said pharmacy wouldn't let them order them because they get what companies give them, and what pharmaceuticals companies do is send the cheap generic brand r some other s****y brand that hurts us more than helps, so as I can't get any other brand except accord which sucks, but u just can't stop taking after my yrs of use, but I only take 2 mg at night only, but for over 15 yrs so it's not like I could just stop , as I wish I could without any repercussions to me, so I'm happy that u c the good in Teva like I did and works very well for u as me, but I can't get that brand up in Alaska, so god bless u and c the wonderful benefits it gives u, as me trying to make this China accord brand work for me it sucks, so hats off to u , keep up with the Teva because u never know when they will pull it because it works beautifully, god bless.
Re: Tex (# 224)
Why not just change pharmacies?
Re: Bababooie (# 225)
If he lives in the middle of nowhere, It might be a 3 hour drive to the next closest pharmacy. I live in NC and ALL of the pharmacies stock up on the cheapest brand whenever the drug truck rolls up. You don't get to pick and choose. That's why I encourage everyone to try and get every state's law makers to disallow drug manufacturers to set their own prices on drugs. That's why we have garbage, ineffective clonazepam from China and India.
Re: NC resident (# 226)
I also live in N.C. in bumbfk. There’s Walmart’s within 30 miles of everywhere. Your allowed to switch one time per prescription. So when I get 3 months prescription I can have it filled at one place then if I don’t like it I can have it transferred to another pharmacy once so you can shop around. There’s only 3 manufacturers (Teva, Solco and Accord) so you may have to drive to get the one you want. Gas is $1.80 roughly in N.C. so that’s a cheap price for getting the drug you need
Re: Trevor (# 212)
U r right Trevor ..
Avcorp.cause constipation ..big time bad...thx man.tony
Re: Tex (# 224)
Availability of stuff is one more reason not to live in Alaska.
Re: Jbal04407 (# 219)
Maybe you need to up your dose. Wouldn't that make more sense?
Re: Eric (# 229)
Sarah Palin and daughters makes me want to move to Alaska ;-P
Re: Babbaboooie (# 231)
There history, watch pregnant teens and u can see Bristol Palin all the time, and mom Palin damn she’s so fine and beautiful if I had her I wouldn’t need meds. Beautiful women.
Re: Tex (# 232)
She's pregnant for a reason :)
Accord.. Accord... Accord...
Re: Trevor (# 215)
Is Solco effective? That's the manufacturer I have. I'm getting mixed messages in research, been taking 21 years, so it's maintenance; but can we be sure between the FDA, manufacturers, and distributors, that all the right peaks will show in an HPLC test? What private companies are available to give us real data about what we receive--if accurate, fine, then we know, and of course all batches aren't the same and the %loss these companies are willing to take in manufacturing should be higher. Stop trying to fix a bad batch we say... you have to start over. All medication must be exactly what it is supposed to be.
Re: NeedHigherStandards (# 235)
Actavis is the worst followed by Solco then Teva I have had good luck with Accord because of the consistency of the quality I get each month. I get 60- .5mgs per month and they always work the same. Not the case with Teva, every month was different
I get my Accords at Walgreens
Re: Bababooie (# 236)
I also was going to Walgreen for the Accord but in Sept 2020 I had a problem and got very ill nervous OMG wasn't the same medicine in it.. Has any one else recently had a problem with it?
Re: Eric (# 237)
I’ve since posting this have had major consistency problems with Accord and have switched to Par Klonopin wafers that melt in your mouth. My copay is more but 1 script I got of Accord had next to no klonopin actually in it. I had leftovers from previous months and took them until I I could get my script filled again. The following script was still lacking so I had my Dr switch me to the wafer/ oral disintegrating tablets. Every order on those have been consistent but weaker probably because of the transmission of the Klonopin to your blood through your tongue instead of stomach. It takes about 3 - .5 mgs now where as I use two take 1 and a half of them. My advice to you is to switch to the oral disintegrating form. The process to make them is more stringent and they’re made in the US
Re: Bababooie (# 238)
Thank you so much. I'll check with my doctor on my next appointment. The inconsistency on these medications are dangerous.
Sorry to say that the generics are getting worse and worse.
The real drug was/is made by Roche. Yes, the real drug costs more money.
The generic can contain +- 20% variation, when it comes to benzos I would not take this risk. Roche Klonopin has worked very consistently for me. Before taking a benzo I would recommend that you take the cost into account. It may seem strange that one drug is the same as another drug even though they are made by different labs and are different shapes and colors. This probably why the pharmacies do not like me very much.
