Swallow it whole. But it will take about 45 minutes to start taking effect. If you really need it to take effect faster, you can put it under your tongue and leave it there until it completely dissolves and gets absorbed. It will take effect in about 10 - 20 minutes.

Hi Anna. From the time the tablet is ingested, you should begin to feel it in 40 to 60 minutes, closer to 60 minutes (1 hour). If you take it sublingually ( place it under your tongue pressing it down with your tongue allowing some saliva to get in there until the tablet completely dissolves, you should feel it in 20 to 30 minutes. Although sublingually is not the normal route of administration for clonazepam, because it's not time released/delayed release/sustain release/extended release etc., this method is perfectly safe as well as taken orally. Plus, it does hit with a stronger initial punch!
