They are definitely not same as I can take clonomox cant take pinamox

hi. I had a bad chest cough and was prescribed pinamox 500mgs. but when I dispensed the script, I discovered that the caps I received were clonamox. this worried me. but I now realise that they have the same ingredients. just wondering why I wasn't given pinamox at the start. my coughs got much better by the way.cheers all.

Clonamox and Pinamox both contain the active ingredient Amoxicillin, so they are the exact same medication, which is an antibiotic used to treat or prevent infections.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, diarrhea and skin rash.
