Clindamycin Question

I started clindamycin about 30 hours ago. Before I got it my wisdom tooth was hurting excruciatingly, and I had a bit of swelling. After taking it, the pain is pretty much gone, but the swelling has gotten worse. My question is; does the swelling usually get worse at first after taking this medication? And about how long before it improves? I'm very nervous. I always think the worst. Lol. Any answer would help. Thanks.

The general rules for an antibiotic are that, if it is working, you should not see any worsening after taking it for a full 24 hours, and you should start to see improvement after taking it for a full days.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
