Clindamycin In Place Of Penicillin For A Uti

I am allergic to sulpha drugs and Penicillin. Can I take Clindamycin HCL for a UTI?

There is always a risk of finding more medications that you are also allergic to. What type of reaction do you have to Penicillin and sulfa drugs?

The NIH warns that this antibiotic may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
