Clindamycin For Uti?
UpdatedI've been prescribed clindamycin 300mg for the next seven days. Is this for a urinary tract infection (e.coli)? I'm also wondering since this is not a normal drug that is usually prescribed, if I should take it or if I should I go seek another doctor's opinion?

This is a broad spectrum antibiotic that can be used to treat various types of bacterial infections, so it is best to follow your doctor's instructions.
The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea. dry mouth, and non-allergic skin rash.
Have you started taking it, yet?
