Was prescribed this Medicine 1week ago today. Just realized I was supposed to be taking three pills so 450 mg every 8 hours. I have only been taking 1 pill 150 mg every 8 hours what should I do? Should I start taking the 3 pills until they are gone?

It would be best to discuss it with your doctor, because if you don't take the full dose for the full duration of treatment, there is a risk of your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Thus, they may need to prescribe more.
The FDA lists the typical antibiotic side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
