Clindamycin And Percocet

Hi, I was prescribed clindamycin 300mg for dental abscess and percocet 5-325mg tab, but I can't keep any food down. I was going to drink an extra strength Alka Seltzer to see if it would help with the upset stomach. Is this OK to mix? It is the antacid tabs diluted in 4oz water. Thanks

I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between them, but it's always best double check to be sure.

Both the antibiotic and the narcotic can cause nausea and vomiting as side effects, you may also experience dizziness, drowsiness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea, as listed by the FDA. The Percocet also carries the risk of being habit forming.
