This is a supplement that is claimed to help relieve the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, such as hot flashes and night sweats. According to the U.S. FDA, it may cause nausea, and diarrhea, as side effects, in some people that take it. It contains soy isoflavones, which are a natural source of the hormone estrogen.

Has your doctor instructed you to take it?
