Clavam contains the active ingredients Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid, it is an antibiotic that's used to treat various types of infections.
It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
And no, it isn't known to cause any risk to the baby. As a matter of fact, if the mother has an infection and doesn't have it properly treated, that is when there would be a great danger to the baby.
