Citalopram Side Effect

on 20 mg of citalopram / 4 yrs. stopped on my own 2 months ago. i am tired all day, am confused often and in a fog all day. are these side effects or could it be something else?

Based on my research, some of the symptoms of Citalopram withdrawal do include but are not limited to: increased tiredness, confusion, mood changes, and light headedness. I would speak with your doctor about what you are experiencing so that maybe he can help you through the process.

If I can recommend anything else, it would be to detoxify your body to help the medication leave your system sooner. You can do so by eating plenty of fresh fruits and veggies or juicing, staying hydrated, exercise at least an hour a day (rebounding, dancing, swimming, or breath work) to get your lymphatic system flowing, along with getting plenty of rest each night.
