Good day,

My son (age 17) has two boils in his armpit. I would like to know if Ciprogen is an antibiotic, and if so, can he use this for his boil?

Ciprogen is listed as containing the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin, which is an antibiotic that is used to treat, or prevent bacterial infections.

Its typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Have the boils been checked by a physician?
