Ciprofloxacin 500mg Tab

What does it mean if you have mental changes while on cipro? Why does this happen? Could this indicate I have a mental problem? I had the same problem with predazon. Except when I woke up my face was red and puffy. They think I have a allergy to predazone. Any way just concerned that this has happened with two medicines. So far no other side effects from the cipro. Just the mental changes. It's getting better as I let it leave my system.

No, this doesn't necessarily mean you have a mental problem, it means the medication is having an odd effect on your body.

Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic and while they can list information on the most common side effects that you may experience, such as: nausea, dizziness, skin rash and diarrhea, there is no way of knowing the specific effects that any given medication may have on any specific person.

Have you informed your doctor of the problems you had with it? In the future, you will probably want to stay away from this medication and use an alternative.
