I am 62, I started using C 5 mg, daily for one week with no improvement. I called my doctor and he advised to increase to 10 mg to see the effect. I did but still no change. Does anyone have a clue after i read so many compliments for this medication?

Hello, BeeBee! How are you?

One possibility is that this just isn't the right medication to help you. Not every medication works for everyone that tries it, which is why there are usually several to choose from in any given therapeutic category. You may need to try a different one, if your doctor approves, such as Viagra. The FDA lists its possible side effects as being similar to those of Cialis and they may include nausea, dizziness, low blood pressure, stuffy nose and priapism.

Another possibility is that whatever is causing your ED is a condition that requires some other type of treatment.

Are you on any other medications?
