Now the clarification I need is what is the drug that we find in Chymoral forte and how it works on the patient and will there be any side-effects. further she has an infant of eight moths old and can that infant take the milk from mother. what is the drug in chymoral forte and how it works on a patient of Bell's Palsy?

I just found this post and unfortunately too late to assist your friends daughter but I had Bell's palsy diagnosed by doctors at the hospital. I went to my GP who also practised acupuncture but the first question he asked was how long it was that it occurred which I said three days as the issue was nerves. If they are inactive for too long they lose their memory of function so he started the acupuncture on the third day with two needles inserted and an electrical impulse through wires attached to needle. After 4 or five weeks, two 30 - 40 minute sessions per week I had sufficient use of the nerves to discontinue the treatment and eventually recovered the full use of the rightside of my face by 3 - 4 months after the loss occurred. At the time he also mentioned that it was also successful on patients who had strokes. The hospital doctor had informed me that ther was little that they could do for me but that many people recover over time 6 - 12 months as much as 90 - 95% so no real help from them at all.
The right side of my face had sagged affecting my right eye and all the muscles on that side. I was biting my gums often while eating on the right side and apparently my boss said I looked like the phantom of the opera, if you can imagine one side of my face smiling but the other side hanging limp. Physically I was ok to work but I was being asked what's wrong with your face quite a lot. Simply put, the acupuncture with small electrical stimulus got it working again where it was as though it had never occurred. Whether it would have come back of its own accord I know not but I attribute the quick recovery to the acupuncture. I took no other medication or treatment during that time or since for it and it was not offered the western medical practisers. Since then I have heard of others who did not fare as well as i had and are still living with the condition. Another work colleague had also had the acupuncture for the same condition only her first practitioner placed the needles on the good side of her face so she went to another before hers was resolved. I had an ear infection which caused slight swelling below the ear that caused the problem inthe first place and had been under some stress at work doing a lot of overtime. Hope this is able to help others who have this condition. With nerves time is of the essence so as soon as it occurs get to a good acupuncturist.
Hello,
Based on my research, Chymoral Forte is a prescription drug from India which contains the proteolytic enzymes: Trypsin and Chymotrypsin. It is indicated for the treatment of soft tissue inflammation and trauma to the eye. From what I can gather, proteolytic enzymes are safe for use during lactation. However, you should clarify with your doctor if you have any reservations or important questions about the medication that has been prescribed.
I haven't been able to find any reports stating that it is used for Bell's Palsy. You may want to ask the neurologist why he/she prescribed this medication.
Proteolytic enzymes are usually well-tolerated and are not associated with any adverse reactions. Gastrointestinal (stomach) discomfort is the only reported side effect.
