On oxycodone-acetaminophen 10/325 4 times day. It was also combined with Fentanyl 100 every 72 hrs. I asked to be taken off Fentanyl as it's very expensive. My Dr prescribed then Methadone HCL 10 mg 2 tabs every 8 hrs. This combination doesn't work as well. What's my other choice?

If the Oxycodone is helping, you may want to speak to your doctor about trying it, by itself. It's available in various doses, without the added Acetaminophen.
Morphine is available in the time released formula and the generics for it as usually not too expensive.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Does anyone else have any ideas or suggestions?
