Chrominac-a,glycomet 850

i am a pcod patient aged 29 yrs having 1 kid. my doc advised me to take chrominac A, glycomet 850 twice daily
for 3 months without any sugar test. i took them for 3 months then i stopped taking chrominac A but i have been taking the glycomet 850 since 8 months once daily. should i check my7 sugar level? should i stop it taking?
