I'm a runner and also have high bad cholesterol. I started Pravachol 1 month ago. 3 days ago was the last time I could run. It hurts when I walk. Lower left side of my back. At 1st I thought sciatica, but so sudden? ## I am not specifically sure about the side effects of Pravachol BUT the cardinal side efecct to monitor for with this class of drug is muscle weakness/pain. My grandma got a prescription for pravastatin 80 mg which is supposed to be an oblong yellow pill with rx 598 on it... inside the bottttle there were only 4 of these... the rest were the oblong pink pills with an A on one side and an 04 on the other ## Just have to ask a couple of questions so I can help you better. 1. Are the pink pills capsule? or are they tablets? 2. Are they only pink? Or are there other colors? 3. Is the pill scored? joint pain in both elbows from taking 20mg of lipitor, I quit taking it may 22, 2009. Doctor say's it's not from the drug. I have been doing the same job for many years and all my problems started when I went on this drug. Being extremely fatigued, muscle aches. Slowly the tiredness has subsided. I can not believe this is not related to lipitor. My doctor has sent me to physical therapy cause the pain from elbow down entire forearms. Anybody have any suggestions on how long till it goes away.
